The Orlando Pride has a new leader. Caitlin Carducci is now vice president of soccer operations and general manager.
The Orlando Pride named Caitlin Carducci as their new vice president of soccer operations and general manager. She comes from the Kansas City Current, where she worked as general manager. There, she helped build a team that won the 2025 NWSL Shield and the 2024 NWSL x Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup.
Carducci has more than ten years working in U.S. Soccer and the NWSL. She knows how to build strong teams with good players. At Kansas City, she added players like Lorena and Ally Sentnor to the roster.
Haley Carter left the Pride in late 2025 to join the Washington Spirit. Carter helped the team win the NWSL Shield and championship in 2024. The Pride used help from Bloom Sports Partners to find Carducci as the new leader.
Carducci wants to keep the team's good work going. She will work with coaches to make the team better. Her goal is to fight for the 2026 NWSL Championship. She plans to find top players and run things smoothly.
The Pride traded defender Emily Sams to Angel City FC for 607,000 EUR in transfer funds. This is a club record and the second-highest in league history for any player. It is the highest ever for a defender. They also added player Hailie Mace. These changes help set up Carducci's new role.
