Lehmann comes from Tägertschi, Switzerland. She began her pro career in 2016 with BSC YB Frauen. After three seasons in the Swiss Super League, she went to England in 2018 to play for West Ham United.
In England, she had a loan at Everton FC in the 2020/21 season. Then she joined Aston Villa. There, she played 75 league games and scored 14 goals over three seasons.
In the 2024/25 season, she went to Juventus Turin in Italy. She helped her team win the league title and the Coppa Italia.
Lehmann has been on the Swiss national team since 2017. She has 64 caps, which means she brings good experience to Leicester City.
