Leicester City has signed Alisha Lehmann, a forward from Switzerland, from FC Como. The club wants to add players with more experience to the team. This season, Leicester has one of the youngest teams in the Women’s Super League.
Alisha Lehmann has played for many clubs in women’s football. These include West Ham, Everton, and Aston Villa in England. She has played 64 times for Switzerland. She was on the national team for Euro 2025 in her home country. Her contract with Leicester runs until 2028.
Alisha Lehmann is the fifth new player for Leicester this January. She is the youngest of the group. The others are Rachel Williams, Ashleigh Neville, Sarah Mayling, and Emma Jansson. This comes after the club lost their old captain, Janice Cayman, to PSV.
Alisha Lehmann has a big following on social media. She has 15.9 million followers on Instagram and 11.8 million on TikTok. She recently co-managed a team in the UK Baller League with TV host Maya Jama.
Kelly Gago plays as a striker for Everton. She wants to leave the club. Everton coach Brian Sørensen says the club is waiting for a good offer. They want about 575,000 EUR to let her go. Any club can use her release clause, but offers so far are much lower.
