

Bayer Leverkusen's women's team beat Union Berlin 2-1. They came back strong even after losing a player.
1. FC Union Berlin marked its 60th birthday with a match against Bayer 04 Leverkusen. They gave a warm welcome to referee Riem Hussein for her 150th Bundesliga match.
The game began with Union Berlin full of energy. In the first minute, Amber Tysiak almost scored with a header, but Carlotta Wamser made a great save. Union kept pushing, making it tough for Leverkusen.
In the 36th minute, Union took the lead. Lisa Heiseler sent in a corner kick, and Dina Orschmann headed it in for 1-0. Before halftime, Union's keeper Cara Bösl made a key save.
After the break, things got more intense. In the 68th minute, Leverkusen's Ruby Grant got a yellow-red card and left the team with ten players. This fired up Leverkusen instead.

In stoppage time, Vanessa Fudalla set up Kristin Kögel in the box for the 2-1 goal. This ended Union Berlin's hopes on their special day.
