

London City lost at home to Everton. They played well in the first half but could not win.
London City played Everton at home on Sunday. The new team in the league had control in the first half. They pushed Everton hard and made them clear the ball 27 times.
Alanna Kennedy almost scored but Ruby Mace cleared it off the line. Soon after, London City hit the post and missed a chance to go ahead.
Things changed in the second half. Wassa Sangaré made a mistake and Everton took the chance. Inma Gabarro scored the goal in the 62nd minute with help from Nicole Momiki. Everton held on for the away win.
Courtney Brosnan in goal for Everton did a great job. Ruby Mace also helped keep the score. Brosnan got the Woman of the Match award. For London City, Poppy Pattinson and Freya Godfrey tried hard but it was not enough.
