The transfer fee is around $1 million, which includes a base fee of approximately $740,000 and potential additional payments of up to $185,000. Chicago has also included a resale clause of ten percent in the agreement.
The 31-year-old Ludmila will play for San Diego Wave FC until 2028. This long-term contract shows the club's commitment to building a strong team.
Ludmila began her professional career in 2011 at the age of 16 with CA Juventus in Brazil. In 2017, she moved to Europe to play for Atletico Madrid. In 2024, she made the move to the United States, joining Chicago Fire FC.
During her club career, Ludmila has played a total of 202 matches for Atletico Madrid and Chicago Fire FC, scoring 79 goals and providing 29 assists. For the Brazilian national team, she has scored four goals and made eight assists in 47 appearances.
