Hinata Miyazawa, the midfielder from Japan, has extended her contract with Manchester United. She will now be with the club until June 2029. This shows the team's plan to keep her as an important player. She has become a key part of the squad since joining.
Miyazawa joined Manchester United in September 2023. She made her first appearance soon after in a win against Aston Villa. In her first season, she played 17 matches and scored her first goal against Bristol City in November. So far, she has played 67 games and scored three goals for the team.
The 26-year-old helped Manchester United win the FA Cup in the 2023/24 season. Her skills make her vital to the team's play. She also plays often for Japan and helped win the SheBelieves Cup this year.
"I really enjoy playing football at Manchester United, and I am very happy to continue my journey here," said Miyazawa after signing.
