Claudia Pina comes from Montcada i Reixac. She is a striker who has agreed to a new contract with FC Barcelona. This keeps her with the team until 2029. The signing happened on Monday. Club president Joan Laporta and other officials were there.
Pina has grown a lot in the past season. She was not always a main player before. Now she is key under coach Pere Romeu. Last season she scored 24 goals. She got 10 of them in the Champions League. That made her the top scorer there.
Pina came back from a loan at Sevilla in the 2020/21 season. Since then she has got better and better. She is now seen as one of the best strikers in Europe. At 24 years old she has played 191 matches. She scored 86 goals and gave 49 assists.
Pina has won 23 titles. These include three Champions Leagues, six league titles and five Copas de la Reina. She has many years left to play. Fans look forward to what she will do by 2029.
