Kiko Seike, the 29-year-old forward, has extended her contract with Brighton & Hove Albion. The club did not share details about how long the new deal lasts. But it is clear she wants to stay with the Seagulls.
Seike made history in her debut in September 2024. She scored three goals in a 4-0 win against Everton. This made her the first player to score a hat-trick on her league debut in the Women’s Super League.
Since joining in July 2024, Seike has been important for Brighton. She has played 37 matches and scored 11 goals. Her goals helped the team finish fifth in the league last season, their best result ever.
Zoe Johnson, managing director of the football department, is happy about Seike staying. She said, "We are very pleased that Kiko has chosen to spend her future at Brighton. Since her arrival in July 2024, she has been a key player for us. She shows her skills on and off the pitch. We look forward to what lies ahead."
