SGS Essen has taken Ella Touon on loan from 1. FC Köln for the rest of the season. The Swiss left-back played in Essen's youth team from 2019 to 2023. She joined the pro team in 2020.
This season, the 22-year-old has played only 45 minutes in the Bundesliga for Köln. She also played two games for the U20 team in the Regionalliga West and scored one goal there.
With SGS Essen before, Touon played 42 matches and scored one goal. She now plays for Switzerland's national team. She has four caps for the A-team and one assist.
