

West Ham United has signed Ylinn Tennebø. The defender joins from Vålerenga on a 2.5-year deal.
Ylinn Tennebø is a Norwegian defender who can play on both sides of defense. She has signed with West Ham United for two and a half years. She will wear shirt number 15. Tennebø moves from Vålerenga in Norway to London to help the team's defense.
Tennebø started playing football in Norway with Kaupanger IL. She then moved to Avaldsnes in 2020 and to Vålerenga in 2021. At Vålerenga, she helped win the Norwegian Cup in 2021. She also won the Toppserien league titles in 2023 and 2024. Tennebø played in the UEFA Women’s Champions League too.
Tennebø has played for Norway's youth teams. These include U16, U17, and U23 levels. This gives her good experience on the international stage.
Tennebø is excited to play in the Women’s Super League. Her late grandfather was a big West Ham fan. She wishes he could see her join the team.
Tennebø always wanted to play in England. She looks forward to games against strong teams each week. She plans to bring her winning mindset to West Ham.
