Bay FC has signed young English player Keira Barry. She joins the team on a four-year contract.
Keira Barry and coach Emma Coates know each other from England youth teams. Coates has coached youth national teams for years before coming to the US.
Coates says Barry brings lots of energy and good skills with the ball. She calls Barry a winger who looks forward and makes chances on the field.
This is the second young English player to join Bay FC this week. Anouk Denton came first from West Ham.
Barry is the fourth young player Bay FC signed this off-season. The team wants a young squad, and Coates uses her youth coaching experience to help them do well next season.
